One-Step Sparring
All techniques should be executed with Extreme Control.
All blocks are aimed to the wrist of the attacking mid punch.
When dodging to the side, it is essential that both feet move.
Kia when delivering the final attack.
The technique is completed after returning to parallel ready stance.
The attacker should not shorten his/her step when advancing to front stance.
The attacker should maintain good posture.
The attacker should look straight when performing the attack, and maintain
looking straight.
The defender is responsible for maintaining distance and should always use
correct stances.
There are three starting distances for the defender: stepping in (normal),
stepping back (start forward), and blocking with the foot (start back).
Do not attempt to learn techniques until one of the instructors has taught
it to you.
Advance to Green Belt
1. Step out horse

3. Step in back stance simultaneous knife block and knife attack (outer),
knife attack (inner)
4. Step in back stance simultaneous knife block and knife attack (outer),
knife attack (inner), step under lock arm, front kick

side fist low
6. Step in horse stance outer block, side elbow mid, back fist high,
side fist low, turning back kick
7. Step in horse stance simultaneous knife block and mid punch
8. Outer crescent block, mid front kick
9. Outer crescent block, high round kick
10. Inner crescent block, high side kick |
Advance to Blue Belt
1. Inner crescent
block, turning back kick
2. Inner crescent block, side kick, back kick
3. Outer crescent block, jumping front kick (jump with both feet)
4. Outer crescent block, jumping scissor-front kick
5. Inner crescent block, jumping side kick
6. Step back into back stance upward palm block, jumping double scissor

7. Step out back stance downward palm block, front stance two ridge
hand attacks
8. Step in back stance simultaneous mid knife block and high punch,

Advance to Brown Belt
1. Step back into
back stance outer block (attacker inside), side kick, turning side

3. Hop back K stance guarding block, leading foot mid front kick,
back foot high round kick
4. Step back back stance knife guarding block, shift in front stance
uprising elbow
5. Step in back stance knife block and high front elbow, high back
elbow, uprising elbow
6. Inner crescent block, jumping turning back kick
7. Stop mid front kick
8. Step out sideways horse stance knife block, high hook kick and
high round kick
9. Step in horse stance outer block, high knife attack, turning high

Advance to Black Belt
1. Step out mid round kick, turning hook
