While it's possible to manufacture the product yourself, I recommend you outsource production to a contract manufacturer. Outsourcing the manufacturing process will allow you to concentrate on design and marketing. Later, if you decide to manufacture yourself, you'll have learned from the outsourcing experience. Don't
be intimidated if you're starting out small. Some manufacturers will work on small
production items. Look for advertising messages such as "No job too small"
or "Short runs our specialty" or other indicators that a manufacturer
will work with inventors and start-up entrepreneurs.
