FUNDING

How to Get Money for Your Invention

Investors understand that you'll need money to get your product idea off the ground. Investors want to know what you're going to do with the money once they give it to you. They'll want to make sure you're clear about how to allocate it properly. You'll need to show how much you require and what you're going to use the money for.

In general, you should seek investors according to what stage you're at and how much money you need. Money can be acquired from a variety of sources. Sources include Angel Investors, Venture Capitalists, Investment Bankers, and Investment Brokers. But before asking for funding, you'll need to show that you have a viable product idea and a viable business plan.

To learn how to get funding for your invention, attracting investors, the questions investors will ask you, SBA loans, writing a business plan, and more, you'll find the answers in my Booklet How to Get Money For Your Invention.

Or, get my Invention Success Kit which includes the content of this booklet, a roadmap from idea to commercialization, how to get a patent, getting a prototype made, going into production, packaging, and marketing from planning to launching to promotion and generating sales.
